I'm Here!

Arriving at the airport in Puerto Plata, I immediately felt a change of climate. It was super humid, which I wasn’t used to coming from the 40-degree Indiana weather. I am always cold, so getting hit with a wave of heat was nice. Upon exiting the airport, the bus to take me to the site was here. I had already got a good impression of the staff from 7 elements, as they did not hesitate to help me board my luggage into the vehicle. The driver also got a selfie of all of us, which made me feel welcome. I do not have the selfie, but I wish I did! Getting to the site was exciting, I saw the lush nature and the places we were staying in. I had a delicious meal served to me as soon as I got there. It consisted of chicken, pasta, and lemonade.
