Laguna Gri Gri and Beach

Day 4 

Lagoon excursion day! 

We took a boat to the lagoon. The boat ride made me nauseous, but I pushed through and suppressed the nausea because I needed to have a good time! The water was super rough, but that only made the trip there better. We stopped to swim in the ocean for about 15 min. I wasn’t super surprised, but the water was super salty. 

 

We spent the day at the beach. It was super fun because the waves were something like I had never seen before. The way that they would crash almost violently was like a fun little game. We were served by very kind Dominicans who served us a variety of foods like rice, and beans. Chicken, avocado, fruit, and fried fish (my favorite.) I even got a fancy pina colada that was only 6 dollars!
